SUPCON DCS Approved for ACWA’s Supplier Network

SUPCON’s distributed control system (DCS) solutions have passed ACWA’s supplier qualification review and joined its approved vendor network for China.

Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Riyadh, ACWA is a leading global developer and operator in power generation, renewable energy, desalination, energy storage, and green hydrogen.

Following a six-month qualification process—including four rounds of documentation, technical reviews, and clarifications—SUPCON was approved as a qualified supplier for ACWA’s China region in July. The assessment covered supplier credentials, technical capabilities, project experience, and quality management.

The approval covers SUPCON’s DCS solutions for reverse osmosis desalination and conventional energy applications, providing a foundation for future projects and broader cooperation.

The GCC remains a strategic market for SUPCON. Since 2020, the company has advanced product approvals, local certifications, and market development across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Kuwait.

SUPCON’s control systems, instrumentation, and control valves have entered ADNOC’s supplier network, with its control systems added to ADNOC’s qualified vendor list in 2025. Its instrumentation products have also secured qualification from Kuwait Oil Company.

The company continues to engage regional energy leaders, including ADNOC Gas, to explore applications of robotics, artificial intelligence, and other advanced technologies in oil and gas operations.Looking ahead, SUPCON will deepen its collaboration with ACWA, pursue further regional qualifications, and deliver smarter, more reliable industrial AI solutions for power, renewable energy, and water projects worldwide.
